The Madhav Udyog manufacturing facility is located in Mandi Gobindgarh Punjab's foremost steel manufacturing hub, known for its deep ecosystem of steel expertise, skilled labour, and raw material supply. Our plant is one of the most integrated facilities of its kind in Northern India combining steel rolling, structural fabrication, and hot-dip galvanizing on a single campus.
What this integration means in practice: a transmission tower leaves our facility having been manufactured from SAIL billets in our own rolling mill, cut and fabricated by our CNC machines, and galvanized in our own bath with quality checked at every stage by our in-house laboratory. No outsourcing. No dependency on third-party fabricators or galvanizers. Complete end-to-end accountability.

Madhav Udyog sources all primary raw material billets and bloom directly from the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). This is a deliberate and important quality decision. SAIL raw material is produced under controlled conditions, carries traceable mill certification, and meets consistent chemical and mechanical property specifications.
For our clients particularly those supplying to PGCIL and Indian Railways, where material traceability is a contractual requirement this means every structure we deliver can be traced back to its certified source material. No secondary market billets. No quality uncertainty.
All incoming billets and bloom are inspected on arrival. Chemical composition and mechanical property certificates from SAIL are verified and filed against each batch.
Dimensional and visual checks are conducted at each production stage rolling, cutting, punching, assembly by dedicated QC personnel. Non-conforming material is quarantined and reviewed before further processing.
Zinc coat thickness is measured on every batch using calibrated gauges. Adhesion and finish are inspected visually and by cross-hatch testing. Results are recorded against batch numbers and supplied with delivery documentation.
Every shipment undergoes a final dimensional and visual inspection before dispatch. Test certificates, material traceability records, and delivery challans are provided with each order.
